Leverage lets you control a position larger than the money you set aside. The money set aside is your margin: position value ÷ leverage.
If your margin level falls to {{ rtrim(rtrim($stopOut, '0'), '.') }}%, the platform closes your worst losing position automatically, then rechecks. This can happen quickly and you will not be asked first.
Example: with 1,000 USDT you open a 10,000 USDT position at 10x (1,000 margin). A 5% move against you is a 500 USDT loss, half your account. A 10% move wipes it out. Lower leverage gives more room.
Unrealised profit counts towards equity but cannot be withdrawn until the position is closed.
